Thermal Convection in Short-Bearing Films

A solution for the temperature distribution in a short-bearing film, is obtained, when convection is included. The solution shows that for some cases convection is indeed small compared to conduction and can be discarded from the energy equation. It also shows that convection becomes important in some extreme cases and, thus, it should be retained in the energy equation.
